• The compact design of AX Sections results in much smaller space requirements for a given amount of heat transfer surface. This, coupled with higher heat transfer rates generally attained, results in a much smaller catch basin or box in a new installation. In replcement of existing equipment with AX Sections, the reduced space requirement permits greatly increased condensing or cooling capacity within existing facilities.
  • The Sections are self-supporting when set on simple foundations. No additional supports, brackets, or scaffolding, to add to the initial expense and amplify corrosion problems, are needed. Self-aligning support lugs integrally cast on the Sections, provide this self-supporting feature and assist materially in reducing erection costs.
